[2/3/09]Official Archivist. The American Wasteland (American Anthology>) is now operational, but we need someone to maintain it. Someone to keep it up to date with episodes and the facts and events that the new episodes bring.
[11/3/08]Website developers/moderators. It would be nice to see this website further developed: the aesthetic tuned, some new features added, etc. Some new features I'm looking at are: a domestic blog; a forum structure (with usernames, etc); RSS publishing; consolidated video playing. Basically I need people to make the website better.
SUBMISSION
[11/3/08]More photographs. I've made it more accessible for photographers to submit work. I'd like to see more.
[11/3/08]Episodes. We could always use more videos, but I'm really looking for more videos by more people. So far there are only two contributors; I'd like to see it branch out and become more community based.
[11/3/08]Fiction. I'd like to have someone chronicle the fiction of American Wasteland: that is all the important stuff that makes this world what it is. It would be great to have someone be the archivist, to be permanently in charge of compiling all the fiction. Potentially creating an interactive timeline or something similar.

AW Wiki (Follow Up)

New Webspace (Follow Up)
American Wasteland now has its own webspace (awproject.org>)! This is truly exciting. New features will be quickly on their way (forums), and the blog was added (see right column).

New Webspace
A new webspace for American Wasteland is on its way. That means its own website (so it won't run off of my school-given server space), self-updating blog, and more server space for larger-res photographs, and possibly dedicated media server (rather than having embedded Vimeo videos--though, this is convenient).

AWwiki
Currently, I'm looking at the MediaWiki software--the engine that runs Wikipedia>--in the hopes of adding an American Wasteland wiki to the site. The wiki will tie in the calls for fiction, moderators, and forums. Hopefully I can get it up and running (see Calls for more details).

New Website Launched
The redesigned American Wasteland--the Map> model--has launched and is working. It is still missing many things that will make it really work, but it's getting there.
